You’ve dropped into the website of Australian author Simon Brown. I spend most of my productive time writing speculative fiction, but occasionally write articles for this blog or for other people’s books or websites. Now and then I also do some freelance editing.

Between 2013 and 2015 I did casual work as a journalist with Nowra’s local paper, the South Coast Register, and between 2016 and 2017 worked as a senior communications officer with UnitingCare Australia.

I currently live in Johannesburg, South Africa, with my wife Alison, an amazing teacher who works in international education.
